Accompanying Children
Flying with Avia Traffic Company can be an unforgettable journey for your children. We recommend considering several important points to make the flight as safe and comfortable as possible.
Child Transportation Rules
- Children from 0 to 6 years old are transported only accompanied by a parent or adult passenger.
- Children from 6 to 12 years old can fly either accompanied or under airline staff supervision.
- Children over 14 years old can travel independently. For children under 16 years, accompaniment is provided upon parents' request.
- An adult passenger may carry one child under 2 years old on their lap without a separate seat. Additional children or children over 2 years old require a separate ticket.
Ticket Discounts
- Children under 2 years travel free on domestic flights, on international flights - with 90% discount (excluding fees).
- Children from 2 to 12 years (and under 2 years with a separate seat) receive discounts up to 30% of the adult passenger fare.
Baggage Allowance
Children are entitled to free baggage allowance, as well as the ability to transport free of charge:
- Baby stroller or cradle (weight up to 10 kg, without factory packaging).
- Child's personal items within the established allowance.
Child Safety Onboard
Basic rules for ensuring child safety:
- A child under 12 years cannot occupy seats in emergency exit rows.
- If the child is on an adult's lap, they must be secured with a separate child belt.
- During takeoff, landing or turbulence, the child cannot be in a cradle.
Unaccompanied Children
On direct flights, unaccompanied child service is available:
- 6-14 years: Service is mandatory.
- 14-18 years: Service provided upon parents' request.
- Under 6 years: Transportation only with adult accompaniment.
Cost: Accompaniment service is free. Ticket purchased at adult fare.
Documents for Child Transportation
For a minor child to travel abroad, the following are required:
- Original identity document (birth certificate, international passport).
- Notarized consent for independent travel (if necessary).
