Avia Traffic celebrates 22 years in the skies

Archive story: originally published in Russian on 20 June 2025, to mark the airline’s 22nd anniversary.

Twenty-two years ago, Avia Traffic operated its first flight. Much has changed since then: countries, routes, aircraft and technology. One thing has remained constant — a love of flying and a desire to be a reliable partner for everyone who travels by air.

Over those years, the airline has:

• carried millions of passengers;
• opened new routes, connecting people, families and cities;
• learned to work through every kind of challenge, from clear skies to the most difficult times.

Avia Traffic is a team of people who put care into their work every day: pilots, cabin crew, engineers, dispatchers, ticket agents, IT specialists and cleaning staff. Passengers may never meet many of these hundreds of people, yet their work makes safe, punctual flights and a warm welcome on board possible.

Twenty-two years is more than a number. It represents experience, confidence and countless stories: reunions after long separations, first journeys, business trips, weddings, holidays and homecomings.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey — those who fly, work, support the airline or simply say a heartfelt “thank you” after landing.

At 22, Avia Traffic is beginning another chapter.
