Bishkek to Saint Petersburg: your Pulkovo travel guide

Avia Traffic operates direct flights between Bishkek and Saint Petersburg. When checked on 6 October 2026, Pulkovo’s schedule listed YK 879 from Bishkek and YK 880 in the opposite direction. Check your specific travel date: schedules change with the season, and seat availability is established when you search.

Start with when you need to arrive

If you have an appointment in Saint Petersburg, plan your arrival at the actual address, not just at the airport. After landing, you still need to leave the aircraft, complete border formalities, collect baggage and travel into the city. Allow for delays if you have a train or another flight on a separate ticket: that is a separate part of your journey.

On the flight booking page, choose Bishkek and Saint Petersburg, your dates and passengers. Compare the result with Pulkovo’s flight schedule. This guide helps you prepare; prices and availability appear in the search results for your dates.

What to check before paying

Our BSZ instead of FRU guide explains Manas’s airport code. See the baggage and ticket refund pages for the relevant rules and steps.

Online booking and check-in are separate steps

The airline states that online check-in is unavailable for Avia Traffic flights: boarding passes and seats are assigned at the airport counter before departure. Buying a ticket online does not replace check-in. Read the check-in information and the instructions in your booking in advance.

Before leaving, save your itinerary receipt, check your documents and charge your phone. Entry requirements depend on citizenship and individual circumstances; verify them separately with official sources. An itinerary receipt and hotel reservation alone do not establish that all entry requirements have been met.

From Pulkovo to your address

According to the airport, buses 39 and 39Э serve Moskovskaya metro station; 82Э serves Prospekt Veteranov. City-bound buses depart from level 1. Check current operating hours and fares on Pulkovo’s transport page before travelling.

• Travelling alone with a small bag: compare a metro connection with a car journey, including changes and the final walk.
• A family or several suitcases: tell the car operator how many people and bags you have, and whether you need a child seat.
• A late arrival: check the entire route to your address, including the last metro service. Save a backup transport option in advance.

If someone is meeting you, agree on an exact meeting point and a way to contact each other. Landing time is not the time you leave the terminal; let your contact know when you are ready.

Plan the return journey to the airport

The day before returning, check the date, time and airport on your receipt, then check the flight status. Allow for traffic, check-in, bag drop and security when choosing when to leave Saint Petersburg. Do not assume the return drive will take as long as the journey after arrival.

1. Check the itinerary and passenger names against the travel documents.
2. Review baggage and fare conditions.
3. Save the receipt and the ticket seller’s contact details.
4. Plan your journey from Pulkovo and a backup option.
5. Write down when to leave for your return flight.
